Last Saturday, the 20th of May, marks our first anniversary at NSV Group. And if you were to ask me for the recipe for building a business during times of war or the 10 principles of establishing partnership relations when everything is at stake, the ground is ablaze, and the prospects of waking up tomorrow are as uncertain as the fog of the Andromeda galaxy, here is what I would tell you:
I have no idea.
Yes, we began contemplating a logistics platform in Zakarpattia at a time when half of Kyiv had relocated to Lviv and its surroundings, while the other half had learned to distinguish between artillery fire and incoming rockets. Yes, in the evenings, we frequented local bars, drowning our worries, only to wake up the next morning feeling as if we were in the midst of a pandemic. Yes, we practically debunked the dogma that in war, everyone is for themselves, although it was proven countless times. Yes, yes, and yes. But no, I am not Richard Branson. I am not one to give speeches or publish business books. I did what felt right. Business at my fingertips. However, that’s not the point. The point is gratitude. With a capital G.
I want to express my gratitude to the NSV Group team for helping raise the sail amidst the storm and for rowing with such vigor as if there were a 1000-horsepower engine under the hood. I want to thank everyone who has been by our side, providing guidance, assistance, introductions, criticism, and inspiration.
Together, we will emerge victorious. Join us!
